The thing about sugar free candy is, many times it's just a very pale imitation of the "real" thing. The sugar free version of Atkinson's Crunchy Peanut Butter Bars, in no way falls into that category.
These are identical in every way to the original. They have the same textures: crispy on the outside, crunchy/creamy on the inside. The rich peanut butter flavor will transport you back to a time when candy was a special treat your parents provided now and then, which made it all the more special.
If you need to stay away from sugar, I can't recommend this candy highly enough. I hope the company expands on this success and makes equally spot-on sugar free versions of some of their other candies.
